不知不覺過完今年第五週了!也是 Q1 第五週,正式進入二月—Febuary!

今天選擇在 Santa Clara 的 WhatCoffee 回顧這週,這是一間新發現的咖啡廳,有超多看起來超讚的 Pastries! 糟糕,根本是減脂殺手 ……。
進入二月,也表示:距離我回台灣的時間:倒數 11天啦!沒有比這還更期待的事情了!🤩
寫到第五週,開始感受到持續的力量,The power of Consistency – it feels really GREAT!
上週和這週突然難得有比較多朋友的邀約,但因為我的事情真的太多了,因此最後很艱難的只能 Say No。
今天在吃早餐時看了這個影片,學到很喜歡的話,是出自一本書:Disciplined is your Destiny.
“Every no can also be a yes – a yes to what really matters.
To rebuff one opportunity means to cultivate another.”
Saying “No” to somethings is saying “Yes” to the main thing – 這是好久以前從 Jacky 的 Podcast 中聽到的。
Learn to “Protect your Time” – 今年更加認知到『時間』是我們最最珍貴的財富之一。『健康』也是。

自我成長
- 這週聽了 Jacky 訪問 Tina 的那集(女生必聽),超勵志。他說:
You don’t need discipline. You need OBSESSION – If you are obsessed with the things you love, you’ll do it no matter.
Jacky: All founders have these in common – Focus and OBSESSION.
- 看了黃仁勳的影片,真的很勵志。印象最深刻的是:他在絕望時找到 OpenGL (Computer Graphics Workflow),成為公司起死絕生的 Hope,從不熟悉到努力鑽研學習,最後打造出今天的 NVIDIA 帝國。
- 他說:『You can SUCCEED even if you weren’t informed about the technology. 』
- You cannot run away from your past → So, have a good past → integrity. Don’t lie.
生活
- 這週生活主線:早起,健身,下班跑步,其他項目上比較沒有明顯衝刺的主軸。這部分下週要再調整!
- 週四參加了 MeetUp 的一個 CV/ML Networking Event,聽了一個很棒的 Data Mining Flywheel Talk by NVIDIA. (AlpaMayo)
- 週四差點 Burnout – feeling I’m stuck and not contributing to the company. Really really GREAT thanks to Kyle – who listened to me and offer me great advice with amazing demonstrations and examples.
- The only way is Up, bro!
- 週六和週日竟然連續兩天在咖啡廳遇到 Reza – What a coincidence lol. It’s good to see him!
- 週日早上六點身體自動醒,完全不累,跑了 5.6 miles, 56 minutes。看到了一點日出,超級感恩!長跑完的洗澡是最初服的。在書桌前享受早晨的寧靜,靜靜寫下 Think and Grow Rich Chapter 4的 Principle of AUTOSUGGESTION – 貼在牆上,以後每天睡前+早上第一件事就是大聲朗讀出來。
- 兩點半和工院23 的學弟(現在在 Umich Robotics)簡單 Coffee chat (五十分鐘)因此影響到我的計劃,但也是滿難得的經驗。學弟很厲害,寒假自己做了 side project – Diffusion model on MNIST & Semantic Segmentation(UNet) on Cityspace dataset. 我要向他學習呢!幫他宣傳一下他的網頁。
- 接著去 Guitar Center 快樂的練鼓一小時,練了星夜裡的人,浪流連,July,床,如常,馬戲團運動,希望你回來。
- 出來時聽到 Wildest Dream 超好聽!回程車上播,好享受,給我你的愛,美麗, Wildest Dream,Style。
工作
- 這週差點 Burn out, 好險在週五早上決定專心花兩個小時研究 simTests後,心理焦慮放下了很多!和 Joey 對談後確認:融入 Real World Change Detection Dataset into Training很重要。接下來會以讓 training code 跑起來為主!
- 另外:Only dumped frames with actual changes – By checking if changes > threshold.
- 這週解了Context Map Builder的一些bug,包涵:Check OpenGL library & GPU support with nvidia-smi. If broken -> try rebooting the machine.
- 完成 Harrison 的 request: Display visible map layer on viewport (Top-right corner)
- Autopatches – 週三晚上在家專心研究如何 Supply map_view & map_view_update from rebase_tile_build to skip the first part of Cloud SLAM pipeline – use generate_tile_build_config to generate the
map_work.pbtxt, then use schedule_map_work.py to Launch jobs to Staging.- Currently Blocked by simtests error in MVSIM:
Indexingtask. Pending that PR to be merged. - Cherry-pick the commit to my branch and have relaunched jobs.

- 週五在 Richard協助下第一次嘗試用 Claude Code開發:希望用 GenAI的能力把 CMB 從Qt APP轉成一個 Fully-Cloned的 Web App. Very much looking forward to the result!
給自己下一週的衝刺主軸:Clean up TODO tasks in Life & Do a FULL RESET.
